What is Body?

2024-07-15

Hello everyone! I'm super excited to share the first topic that comes to mind. Before diving into different practices and topics around body awareness, it's essential to agree on the term "body." You might think of the body as having separate entities like the physical body, emotions, and thoughts. However, I prefer to view the body by combining all these aspects into one holistic function.

Imagine the body as having different functions: emotional, thought, energetic, and physical. When you combine these functions, you get one holistic function. This holistic view is how I like to see the body—a vibration that changes based on circumstances like mood and sleep quality.

From my experience, this vibration incorporates four aspects: emotions, thoughts, physical aspects, and energetics. There are also concepts like the astral body, which I haven't personally experienced, so I'll focus on what I know.

I draw inspiration from my subjective experiences, despite reading various books. For example, my first fascinating encounter was during a somatic course in Berlin about eleven years ago. The six-week course involved focusing on different organs, understanding their significance, and trying to experience them. It was surprising how quickly I became aware of parts of my body I hadn't noticed before, like the throat or spleen.

This course expanded my awareness of my body's vibrations. There's a term called "umwelt," a German word used to describe what an entity can access. For example, birds have sensors for magnetic fields to navigate. Similarly, humans have an energy sensor within our bodies, which I'm still exploring.

Based on my experience, we have energetic fields inside our bodies, with varying densities, tastes, and feelings. My journey into this awareness was amplified during a psychedelic experience, where I first felt a strong, shifting awareness in my body. After practicing meditation for years, I understood the basics but discovering these energy centers was profound.

One significant experience was during a sound healing journey in Berlin, where I felt a large energy ball inside my belly. This experience opened new dimensions for me, reminiscent of the energy concepts in cartoons like Naruto. It made me realize that these ideas might stem from personal subjective experiences of energy.

I hope you learned something new from this exploration. I'd love to hear your feedback and any aspects that resonated with you. Have a wonderful day, and see you soon!
